Dear Sisters, Collaborators, and Friends,
With great joy and gratitude, I welcome you to the official website of our Sacred Heart province, Nagpur, in the Congregation of Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate. From our humble beginnings to this very moment, God has guided us with a love that is tender, courageous, and unwavering. Our mission has always been clear: to stand with those whom society forgets, rejects, or overlooks, and to reveal to them their immeasurable worth in the eyes of God. “Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do it to me” Me 25:40.These words of Jesus that touched our beloved Father Founder Servant of God Joseph Kandathil continue to inspire us to opt for the poor and the rejected in the society.
In a world marked by rapid change, inequality, and growing indifference, our call becomes even more urgent. Each day, our sisters step into places where pain is deep, hope is fragile, and human dignity is wounded. There, through simple yet powerful gestures of compassion— in our ministry among the differentially abled persons like those persons with Intellectual developmental disabilities, Schools in the rural areas for the education of tribal and indigent children, through our healing ministry among those affected with leprosy and tuberculosis and reaching to the unreached through our general hospitals in interior places—we strive to be living signs of Christ’s mercy.
This website is not merely a digital presence; it is a window into our mission, our community, and our shared dream of a more inclusive world. We hope it inspires you to walk with us, pray with us, and join us in building spaces where every person is cherished, uplifted, and empowered.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our benefactors, partners, and well-wishers who journey with us. Your support strengthens our hands and broadens our reach.
May God bless each of you with peace, courage, and compassion. Together, let us continue to proclaim the Good News—especially among those who need it most.
With warm regards and prayerful wishes,
Sr Lilly Francis
