Assisi Sisters of Mary Immaculate is a Franciscan Congregation founded in the year 1949 by late Msgr Joseph K.W. Thomas in the Archdiocese of Ernakulam, Kerala. The main aim of the congregation is to alleviate the pain and extend the compassionate love of Christ to the most rejected like Leprosy patients, deaf & dumb, mentally handicapped etc.
